The latest report from Forrester says that today 66% of enterprise employees use every day two or more of these devices: computers, laptops, smartphones and tablets. Only 12% used tablets at work, only 50% of desktop computers and 80% use computers with other devices.

Half of the companies support the use of tablets and half that of smartphones.

20% of workers claimed to use up to four or five different devices at work early last year, but this percentage has varied decreasing to 16%.

It has increased the use of tablets but yet has reduced the use of other devices.

70% of employees using the tablets brought from home and only 15% in the company receives. Percentages are very similar for smartphones.

Most companies are increasingly encouraging employees to bring their own devices through the development of a comprehensive policy support.

18% of companies are also implementing corporate application store to offer employees mobile applications that serve various needs: sales force, supply chains, logistics...

The data for the calculation of percentages cited above come from the results of surveys of more than 5000 workers in Europe and North America.
